LOSTCompute — Terms and Conditions of Sale

These terms apply to every quotation, sales order, and invoice issued by LOSTCompute.

1. Payment

Invoices are due upon receipt unless another due date is stated on the invoice. Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation; prices and part availability are not guaranteed after that period expires.

2. Repair Warranty

Repairs, parts, and labor performed by LOSTCompute are covered by a 90-day limited warranty from the date of service, unless a different warranty period is stated on this specific document. This warranty covers defects in the work performed and does not cover unrelated issues, damage from misuse, liquid exposure, drops, or unauthorized modification or service by a third party after the device is returned.

3. Data Backup and Data Loss

You are responsible for backing up your data, software, and files before service. LOSTCompute is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or compromise of data that occurs during diagnostic, repair, upgrade, or build service.

4. Abandoned Devices

Devices not picked up, and outstanding charges not paid, within 30 days of being notified that the device is ready (or that a decision on an estimate is needed) may be considered abandoned after reasonable, documented attempts to contact you. Abandoned devices may be sold, recycled, or otherwise disposed of to recover unpaid charges, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Limitation of Liability

LOSTCompute's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or lost business.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

7. Full Terms and Privacy Policy

The complete Privacy Policy and Repair Service Terms & Liability — including estimate/diagnostic fee terms, pre-existing condition handling, and right-to-refuse-service terms — are published at lostcompute.com/privacy. These document-level terms and the full web policy are both part of the agreement between you and LOSTCompute.
